This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file
before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "global.gs" file in the saved
game directory for the game. The Chakra skills are defined as one of the
following variable names, followed by a number from "0" to "4". Increase any
number up to "4" to get the corresponding Chakra skill.
For example, "skill_level_yellow0" to "skill_level_yellow4"
i've seen the tip in cheatcc.com and found myself disappointed because there
is not enough cheats or hints. Well most of the files in the savegame directory
are editable however, it is too complicated to understand like the global.gs.
However, you can try the item duplicating technique that I discovered to do this
do the following:
Search a place where you can put the things that you want to duplicate. Example
is at cabinet at the inn of villacredo or wherever you want to place it. then
save your game. Then take it back to your inventory and save your game into
another slot. Now go to the savegame directory and find your save number
[hint: every save number has its own description.txt file you can open it to
know your savegame name].
When you found the savegame directory that have the items where you put it,
copy all files and directories in it and paste it to the savegame where you
take back all items to your inventory. finally load the last savegame. This
technique is exactly similar to the Fallout 2 duplication technique.
Still har to understand? well this is the easy but another way:
1: drop the items on the ground
2: save your game to slot 1
3: pick all dropped items
4: save your game to slot 2
5: goto to savegame directory and copy all the files and directories in save1
6: paste it inside save2 directory and overwrite it

To make the game easier, try turning off "Damage" in the Options

The career season is based on points, so you can finish dead last

Make pits stops only when absolutely necessary.
On "Thunderdome", pit earlier than the rest of the pack (after

Save and quit the game. Find the save game file for your player,
named in format.svg in the "savedg" folder. Copy
it to the Windows Desktop and load the game. If done correctly,
you should have one copy of the save file on your desktop and one
in the "savedg" folder. The desktop copy is the backup and should
be copied to the "savedg" file after you die in order to continue
the game. Note: Update the backup copy often.
Duplicate items:
----------------
Go into the hamlet and drop the items you want to duplicate. Leave
the hamlet and exit the game. Look in the "adom_dat" folder and go
into the "temp dat" folder. There will be two files there. Copy
them to another folder then resume the game go back into the hamlet.
Once there, get your items and leave again. Copy the temp files back
into the original directory (answer "Yes" to overwrite all). Then,
go back into the hamlet and the items will be laying there again.
You can also transfer items to other characters by doing this.
Restore character:
------------------
When you die, if you saved before, the game erases that save file so
you cannot restore it. When you save a game, go into "adom_dat" folder
then enter the saved games. Copy your save file to another folder.
When you die, the file in the original folder is destroyed, but not
the other one. Copy it back into the original folder and continue
from where you left off.

Completing "live-with" missions

To complete this type of mission, once you've found the objective
NPC, simply target him or her, and stay within the vicinity for a

Registering the mission as complete can take as little as 10
seconds, and has on some occasions taken us up to 4 minutes.
Creating implants
-----------------
Select the nanocluster you want to insert into the implant by
left clicking it, then hold it over the implant and shift-right
click to combine the two.
You can then go to a surgery clinic to install the implant, if
you meet the requirements.
Nano-programming skill is required for creating implants.
Team looting
------------
As team leader, you can select how loot is divvied up by the team. The most
common choice is alpha, where the spoils can be picked up by characters in
alphanumeric order. To enable this, type:

Other choices include "/team loot leader" and "/team loot FFA"
New player advice

New players can take advantage of the newbie chat channel,
where GMs and players of up to level 6 can chat about game
mechanics and starting strategies.
To un-squelch the newbie chat channel, click on the friends

the box next to the channel listing. You can also reach the
shopping channel this way.
Killing untargetable NPCs:
--------------------------
The game may glitch in some live-with missions, where the objective NPC
will become stuck behind a wall, and thus cannot be targeted. He may
appear briefly, but you will not be able to maintain a lock on him.
Walk towards the wall and enter the /kneel action to see through the wall.
You can then click and target the NPC to complete your mission objective.

In the Whitendon Ice Caves, in the intermission sequence before the Boss, you
can see Sly's head on a snow mound.
8 Cobalt Crawlers:
------------------
To get the 8 Cobalt Crawlers easily, use the invoke 1:86 code to enable cheat
mode and select to "Choose Map" at the cheat menu. Select "Democratus Surface",
then "Ballotine/Doren/Whitendon" in that order to go the Whitendon map. Once
there, open the console window and type invoke 87:3035. There will be a dialogue
-- click through it, and receive a cobalt crawler. Repeat it another seven times
to get the eight needed to assemble Hecatomb, the game's most powerful Mystech.
Note: This is only useful once you have passed the Elementor introduction by
Grumpos in Hephaestus.
Flower petals:
--------------
To get flower petals to upgrade your Beetles in the Elementor window without
having to exit and reenter the area you found one in, or wait for it to
regenerate, open the console window and type invoke 30:2000. You can keep
doing this as many times as needed with a regeneration time of a few seconds,
as long as you are in an area where there actually is a lifeflower.
Unlimited money:
----------------
On the Sender Station, build up some money by buying Shamfoofa Shells from
Sandie (in the Starports) and selling them to Vince (in the Longe of Commerce).
When you manage to stock up enough money, buy about 400+ or 500+ shells from
Sandie again. You must have at least 1 Life Flower Petal to do this trick.
When you try to sell your rare item (the Flower Petal), you will notice that
you can only sell a Twin-Scaled Underplate instead. Sell this item to get 5000
loonies. By doing this, you only subtract 1 Shell from your inventory. Keep
repeating this to gain a large amount of money.
Lots of money:
--------------
1.Goto Sender station.
2.Make sure you have at least 2 Life Petals. (You can only get one at a time, but
they respawn when you leave the area and re-enter. There's one in the Mystech
tunnels, and one to the right side of the entrance to Pump 7, behind a tree in
an alcove.)
3.Goto one of those vender robots, and buy some Shamfoofa Shells.
4.Then choose the "Sell your rare item" option, and there should be a "Twin-Scaled
Underplate" option. Sell that. You get a good sum of money for each one you sell.
Only the count of Shamfoofa shells is detracted, not the Life Petal count.
5.Repeat: buy lots of Shamfoofa shells, and then sell the Underplates.
Note: that this also works for some other items that the vendor sells, but the
Shamfoofa shells produce the best results.
Taxi Service:
-------------
If you install the 1.02 patch, A taxi service is included in the game to shorten
your run from one area to another. This comes in useful when you're trying to get
around on Anachronox.

This is a DOS based game but very interesting and adventurous.
In the create character screen just select a warrior namely (Paladin
or Knight) & proceed your quest. In this game mages are very powerful
in casting spells than paladin or knight. But the journals that are
needed to cast the spell are located in a well-protected & guarded place
where a mage cannot enter and fight the enemies because his strength is
very low but with the help of paladin or knight you can easily everyone
guarding the journal and get it. If the journal is not suitable for the
warrior class but only for the mage class it doesn't matter, Just note
down the symbols of the journal in a piece of paper. Now start a new
character with a mage click the runes (symbols) on the screen in such
a way you noted in the piece of paper and press the ENTER key or click
on the CAST to cast the spell. Presto!!! Here's the spell.

Learn mage spells easily:

- Deflect 5 of a Queen's attacks. What is a Queen you say?
- Get 10 consecutive combos. Not that hard. Just wait for your chances.
- Defeat 4 different kinds of glooples in one swing.
- Beat a whole nest wtihout getting touched ONCE.
That also includes sticky stuff and ink.
- Beat a nest with a clutter baby stuck to you.
- This row is kinda the same, except it involves injuries.
- Get hit by an inkie and survive after the blindness.
- Get hit by a frostie and survive the after effect of ice.
Just like clutters, shake off the ice.
- Survive a massive explosion. Torchies will do the trick.
- Survive a fire.
- Get bumped 30 times.
- Get completely covered in clutters.
Note: this is useful for getting combos.
- Spend a minute in sticky goo.
- Swing your sword against something hard 50 times.
Reward:

- SPRINT: Makes you run faster.
- GRENADE: YA! You know what this does.
I suggest getting this second.
- LURE: Lures enemies towards this device.
- INHIBITOR: Makes spawn limit decrease.
- HAZARD SUIT: Protects you from fire, acid, ice, ink, and goo
for a short time.
- SAW DRONE: Basically a homing helicopter. Doesn't last very long,
but is fast and useful.
- INSTANT WALL: Creates a wall...ya, sounds dumb, but is very useful
for blocking physical attacks.
- REPULSOR: Pushes enemies away from the device...Obviously, you stay
inside the force field.
- BOX GUN: Can fire 30 bullets at enemies.
- TELEPORTER: ...you know what this does too.
- REACTIVE ARMOR: This is basically like an extra life. GET THIS FIRST!

- RAZOR GLAIVE: Dun Dun Duuuuuun. A very powerful sword, ko's almost
anything in one hit!-
Enemies and how to Kill:
------------------------
- Gloople: Doesn't hurt you at all, kill them if nothing else is there
to bother you.
- Stikie: Once popped, it'll release sticky goo. Try not to bump it.
- Biter: Fast and annoying. Either attack it head on, or move out of
the way and then strike.
- Meltie: Once popped, it'll release acid. Destroy it, and run, lol.
- Sharp: Turns into a spicky ball. To beat it, either knock it off the
screen or go behind it and swing at it when it retreats its spikes.
- Clutter: Reproduces if babies latch on to you. Shake them off by rotating
the mouse around your guy. To beat them easy, chase them off the screen or
strike them right when they release a baby. You get more points if you swat
a baby an an adult.
- Inkie: Fast blob that can blind you if it hits you. Once popped, it releases
ink that you can slip on. Get rid of these head on (apply directly to the
forhead, lol) and FAST.
- Grinder. They roll over you, the end. To beat it, either explode it, move
it in acid, or make it clash with another grinder. Then, swat at it 5 times.
- Fuzzle: Much like a Biter. Hit it three times, just beat it like a Biter.
- Oozle: Combination of 2 glooples. It follows you slowly. Go behind it and
swat at it 3 times.
- Torchie: Leaves behind fire tracks, lights ink puttles on fire, and can burn
things it touches. DON'T KILL IT WHEN ITS ON FIRE! YOU'LL BLOW UP! Instead
wait for it to cool down or drag it into a sticky puddle, then strike.
- Frostie: Very fast and can freeze things that it touches. I would just drag
it off the screen. Then again, its more fun to kill it and shake yourself
out of the ice before you get killed.
- Gray: Combination of a gloople and a Oozle. It can harden if danger strikes
it. Easy to beat, really. Get away from it, but make it face you. When it
uses it's dagger thingy attack, slice its body and repeat 2 more times.
- Amalgam: Can obsorbe other glooples and grow bigger. Once big, it can multiply.
The bigger it is, the slower it goes. Lol, I made it so big once that it moved
backwards XD! Simple. Blow it up with a grenade. If you want an award though,
defeat it like an oozle. Beware the babies, kill them.
- Horror: Combination of 2 biters. Tough to beat... Just avoid it and wait for
it to release 4 spiky boomerang things, then strike the core. Beware, it can
create more biters with the teeth attack.
- Void eater: Combination of a gloople and a gray. Head for the hills! Don't go

- Queen: Leader of the glooples. Has sharp claws that can tear you in half or
rip your head off. Can easily be beat with a Razor Glaive, simply strike at
the farthest spot that is strikable. If you have the normal sword, just try to
hit it RIGHT when it strikes you. Beware it can regenerate if a bug is inside
another gloople.
Razor Queen:
------------
This thing is BIG. It has many attacks, but there is one that leaves it out for
an attack. Its where it charges at you. Step to the side and swat it, then run.
Tips:

- If you want the 8 combo swing, have A LOT of clutters stick to you, then shake
them off, followed by an immediate swing. You should get the "Unbelievible Swing"
award.
- If you want to kill a Grinder, make it clash with another one, attack it with the
good sword, OR soke it in acid, then hit it five times. If you have the good
sword, hit it 2 times. Including the large bounty earned by killing it (100), try
killing it with 2 other enemies. You'll get the 300 bounty award and any bounty
award lower than that.
Bonus:

1. Red
- Splatter 2 glooples forming together before they move to an advanced form.
- Clear single nests of each size - Small, Big, Huge.
- Score 100, 200, 350, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000 points before dying.
2. Yellow
- Splatter 2 to 8 glooples in one swing using baby clutters.
- Get killed 10, 25, 50, 100 times.
- Survive for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10 minutes in bounty mode before getting splattered.
3. Teal
- Play practice mode for 10 minutes.
- Get killed in 5, 10, 15 different ways.
4. Green
- Score 20 to 300 points in one swing.

Keep Your Eye on the Prize:

It's easy to get caught up in shooting roadside bombs, but don't forget
your goal is to catch up to the enemy car. Every second you're not
shooting at the blue car is a second wasted!
End Game:
---------
Your strategy should change when you get very close to the enemy car.
Start trailing your mouse right behind the enemy to blow up the roadside
bombs, then zig out and score some hits to slow it down even more.
Enemy car:
----------
You do not have to shoot all the roadside bombs. Your primary objective
is to catch up to the enemy car. Use every spare moment to shoot the
blue car. When you get very close to the enemy car, trail your pointer
directly behind the enemy to explode the roadside bombs. Then, zigzag
out and get some hits to slow it down even more.
